Alright, let's cut the crap right away. Another month, another round of "stimulus check" rumors swirling around the internet like a bad case of digital diarrhea. This time it's a supposed $2000 IRS miracle payment dropping in November. Seriously?
Of course, there's "excitement" and "confusion" among taxpayers, according to some articles. Confusion, yeah, I'll give you that. Excitement? Only if you're gullible enough to believe everything you read on Facebook. Let's be real, folks, these stimulus check fantasies are catnip for the desperate and clickbait for the bottom-feeders.
The IRS is "urging caution," blah blah blah, warning about phishing scams. Like we haven't heard that before. It's the same song and dance every time. Some idiot clicks on a link, gives away their bank details, and then cries about being scammed. Darwinism in action, I guess.
And don't even get me started on the "news" sites that breathlessly report on these rumors, then "debunk" them five paragraphs later. They're just as guilty, fueling the fire for clicks and ad revenue. They expect us to believe this nonsense, and honestly...
Oh, and here's a gem: Trump floated the idea of a "$5,000 DOGE dividend" funded by tariff revenue. A DOGE dividend? Is this a joke? Is our government now taking financial advice from Dogecoin enthusiasts?
This is what happens when politicians try to be "cool" and "relatable." They end up sounding like your uncle who just discovered the internet. But hey, at least it's good for a laugh... right?

And Sen. Josh Hawley had his "American Worker Rebate Act" that would have given a family of four $2400. It went to a Senate committee and then promptly vanished into the black hole of Congressional inaction. Quelle surprise.
Then Rep. Ro Khanna wanted to give folks under $100k a $2,000 check to offset tariffs. I mean, it's a nice thought, but has anyone in Congress actually tried to pass something lately? It's like watching toddlers trying to build a skyscraper out of LEGOs.
The truth is, there ain't no federal stimulus check coming in November, or any other month for that matter, unless Congress pulls its head out of its collective ass and passes something. And let's be honest, what are the odds of that happening?
What we do have are a few states handing out "inflation relief checks" or "rebate checks" to certain residents. New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Colorado… they're all throwing a few crumbs to the peasants to keep them from revolting. It's not nothing, I guess, but it's hardly a game-changer.
And offcourse, you can always track your IRS refund using their "Where's My Refund" tool. Assuming it actually works, and assuming you can navigate the IRS website without wanting to tear your hair out. Good luck with that. You can find more information on potential payments and tracking your refund in articles like Are we getting a stimulus check in November? Track IRS refund, inflation payment, rebate.
I swear, sometimes I think the government designs these systems to be as confusing and frustrating as possible, just to mess with us. Then again, maybe I'm the crazy one here.
Seriously, stop falling for this garbage. The only stimulus you're getting this November is the existential dread of another year hurtling towards oblivion.
